Welcome to Denver Dentistry
A comfortable environment for comprehensive holistic dental care
About Us
Our highly trained team practices functional dentistry from a holistic standpoint, carefully analyzing your system as a whole instead of a collection of different body parts. At your appointment(s) we will evaluate how your systemic health affects your oral health. Then, we integrate both traditional and alternative dental treatments to improve your well-being both systemically and orally. If dental or gingival therapies are needed, we only use the most biocompatible materials available to minimize your exposure to any toxins that have the potential to cause systemic complications.

Meet the Providers
Meet the Providers
Dr. Guy Grabiak DMD, FAGD
Throughout my career, I have been blessed to study with some of the leaders and greatest minds in organized dentistry, but I intuitively realized there was a better way to achieve optimal health. The last mercury amalgam filling I placed was while still in the United States Air Force over 20 years ago.
Gradually, I noticed that our population's decline in health, despite advances in medicine, was due in part to western medicines' lack of understanding of the complexities of how the mind, body, and spirit integrate. We were too quick to prescribe antibiotics and narcotic pain medications rather than treat the cause of the disease.
Meet the Providers
Angelina Geon, RDH, BSDH, HIAOMT
I am a native of Colorado and have over 20 years of experience in the dental field.
I attended the University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Then continued on to earn accreditation in Biological Dental Hygiene through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Like most who seek alternative therapies, I pursued biological dental hygiene to be more congruent with my values, beliefs, and philosophical orientations toward health and life. I was dissatisfied with helping my patients only manage their gum disease, in the traditional dental setting. I wanted to address the root cause, and actually support my patients' quest to improve their oral and systemic health. Biological dental hygiene helped me to do just that!
I take pride in educating practice clientele while respecting each individual's goals, values, and preferences. The drive to create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles leads me to review new scientific research, explore the latest clinical techniques, and analyze oral health care products. Armed with this knowledge, I empower my patients to make the right choice for their oral health in consideration of their systemic health.
When not on the job, you can find me biking or hiking the Rocky Mountains with my family, satisfying my sweet tooth by experimenting with new recipes, or on the baseball field watching my son hit, run, and score. My goals for the future are to maintain a good work life balance, while capturing all that a career in biological dental hygiene has to offer.

FEATURED Services

Sleep and Airway Management
The Denver Dentistry staff is on the frontline of disease detection. Information obtained from the medical history, salivary analysis, as well as the intraoral and extraoral examination, can reveal risk factors associated with sleep related breathing disorders. Denver Dentistry offers FDA cleared and approved home sleep testing to detect Obstructive and Central sleep apnea.

Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) Protocol
If you wish to remove mercury amalgam fillings or metal based crowns it is recommended to use an IAOMT dentist certified in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) Protocol. Dr. Grabiak is SMART Certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Less than 1% of Doctors in the state of Colorado have this certification!

Ozone Treatment
Ozone is used successfully to treat a variety of dental issues, including gingivitis, periodontal disease, dental caries, tooth sensitivity, dental infections, sinusitis, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), and osteonecrotic lesions.

Zirconia Implants
Zirconia is a hypoallergenic material. What this means is that when placed, you’re less likely to experience allergies or sensitivities to the material, making for a more pleasant experience that lowers your risk of implant failure.

Biocompatibility Dentistry
Dental/oral conditions have a big impact on your overall health and well-being. With every procedure, we consider its potential effect on the rest of your body. It’s why we encourage biocompatibility testing of dental materials and will not use known neurotoxins such as mercury amalgam to repair decayed or damaged teeth. It’s why we use tools such as pathogen testing, to provide more specific, targeted treatment of gum disease – a condition linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. We don’t just look at teeth. We look at the big picture.

Periodontal Therapies
In alignment with the IAOMT, we believe, Periodontal disease is an infection - “an invasion by pathogenic microorganisms of a bodily part in which the conditions are favorable for growth of the bacteria, production of toxins, and resulting injury to tissue."
We offer a variety of non-invasive alternative periodontal therapies that can be tailored to your specific needs.
